HA[U]RI SICKNESS!!!

Hello folks,

How are things at your end?All Well I believe. So, here i want to tell you that sickness doesn’t have to always be related with this corona virus only. As corona has taken the center stage in each and everyone’s life one cannot avoid relating to it.Sickness always relates to being physically and mentally unwell. Nonetheless,I’m going to pen my hilarious take on a sickness which is not related to physical well-being.I Am sure everyone can connect and relate this to somebody related or known to them.

Mr. Hari is a well educated, a professor in a well reputed University with lots of awards and accolades to his credits.Mr Hari is in his middle age now. In his younger days he had lots and lots of patience and was calm and composed to the core. This quality of him was admired by everyone always. But off late there was a gradual transformation in his nature which his family members too could sense.

One Sunday morning after breakfast Mr Hari sat to book flight tickets for journey to Bangalore from Delhi. Mr Hari started logging in by providing the necessary details as required. Finally he had to do the Captcha. And here is when the fun started. He typed the Captcha and tried logging in. But,ALAS!! He couldn’t. With specks on, very minutely he saw the letters and numbers in Captcha and typed again, but LOL!!It failed again.”WTF” man! He shouted and there, his son Rohit who was till then busy with his video game saw him with a perplexed reaction. At once he ran to the kitchen shouting “Mummy” where his mom was busy cooking.

“What happened dear? Has your dad finally managed to book a vaccination slot in that Co-win app? She asked with disbelief.

Rohit replied “No” mom, but dad is using cuss words while doing some work in Laptop

Both Priya and Rohit came to the living room to see Hari struggling to get the Captcha correct .Priya told Hari “let me try once” For which Hari replied with an anger on his face “I’m sure there is a real problem with the site only. How many times i’m doing but it always says wrong only”

Priya noticed that Hari had mistaken Z as 2 and also I as 1.Both Priya and Rohit started laughing. Hari with an irritated expression asked “What happened ?Why are you both laughing?

Priya showed him the mistake he had made in copying the letter and the number.

Now Hari understood his mistake . With a sheepish smile he said “SORRY” and finally managed to book the tickets.

Priya told Hari “why are you always in a hurry? If you do things calmly these errors will not occur and the job will also be over soon. But Hari was in a denial mood to accept whatever Priya told.

The day of the journey came and Hari left for the airport with the tickets and ID required for the journey. On reaching the airport Hari tried entering the ID in Kiosk to get tickets but could not get. As usual he cursed the Self-Kiosk machine and joined the queue which was pretty long.Restless Hari waited for his turn to come.At last his turn came.He gave the ticket to the person at the counter.

The gentleman at the counter checked for all the details and softly told him “Sir, your flight has already left ?”Hari with a disbelief asked him to check once more.

In a soft tone, the gentleman at the counter said “Sir, I checked properly sir. Your flight is at 6.00 am in the morning sir and now it is evening sir. please can you kindly make way for the next person in the queue sir?” Embarrassed, Hari came back home.

Priya was surprised to see him back so soon, “Why are u back?Is everything well?

” Hari narrated the whole story that happened in the airport. Both Priya and Rohit started laughing uncontrollably.

Together they told “Mr. Hari you have Hurry sickness!!’’. Hari agreed with a coy smile.

Nowadays Mr Hari is slowly trying to be calm and is on his road to recovery. He practices lots of Captcha in free time given by his son and wife.

Hari’s Hu(a)rry sickness!!!
